Feeding Directions
Feed Masterfeeds Rx Roughage in a no hay diet at the rate of 1 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg of body weight per day to maintain a horse in good condition under light exercise. Divide the allowance into three separate feedings daily. A working horse and growing stock will require more feed, up to 2.0 kg per 100 kg body weight daily.
Gradually remove hay over a two-week period daily, according to the amount of work performed, the condition of the horse and the quality of hay.
* Feeding rates may vary depending on forage quality and horse’s activity level.
